What this is:
These are relaxed open access practical sessions for young people 12 years and above, of all backgrounds and abilities, who want to develop practical skills in mechanics, woodwork and maintenance. Young people can get help to fix their own things or help make or fix something for someone else.
Why we run it:
To provide young people with a safe and relaxed space to develop their practical skills in mechanics, woodwork and maintenance, and to have fun. It enables young people to get support mending their own equipment or with a practical project.
Who it’s for:
Young people aged 12 and above.
When it runs:
1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. Sessions are based at Mere Youth Centre and transport is provided from the South West Wiltshire area, however spaces are limited and must be booked in advance.
